Sidney's Spirit Square at the Beacon Park Pavilion will be a key destination in the downtown core.

It will provide a multi-purpose venue for a variety of community and cultural events and serve as a focal point within Beacon Park.

Both the community and visitors will benefit from the establishment of this vibrant gathering place on Sidney’s spectacular waterfront.

The new pavilion will also be accessible to people with all levels of mobility.

The design for the Beacon Park Pavilion will be put to a public consultation process for suggestions on how it can reflect the town's history, culture and diversity.

Sidney will receive a $175,000 grant from the provincial government for this project.
