The Province is helping to revitalize Westview Wharf with an open air market and gathering area, the result of $300,000 from the B.C. Spirit Squares program, Community Development Minister Blair Lekstrom announced.
The area currently hosts community events, festivals and craft markets. The funding will improve accessibility and seating, and add enhanced space for events in an area that has been underutilized.
The announcement was made Dec. 11, 2008.
