New Hazelton will be developing its very own B.C. Spirit Square at Allen Park.

The Spirit Square will provide a place to celebrate BC150 activities next year and other events in future thanks to $35,500 from the provincial government.

The design for the project calls for a gazebo-style stage or bandstand as well as a roofed cookhouse, a display shelter and a paved assembly area to enable more public use of the facility.
