The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen will develop a B.C. Spirit Square in Hedley's Woodlie Park, thanks to $25,000 from the Province's B.C. Spirit Square program.
Located in the centre of Hedley, the funding for Hedley’s Spirit Square will help upgrade the existing community park by building a portable stage for community events with picnic tables and benches, creating a playground, and installing water lines for washroom facilities and fountains.
The announcement was made Feb. 22 by Rick Thorpe, MLA for MLA for Okanagan-Westside and Minister of Small Business and Revenue.
