Harrison Hot Springs will be developing its very own B.C. Spirit Square, thanks to $280,000 from the provincial government, Chilliwack-Kent MLA Barry Penner announced Feb. 22.
The Harrison Lake Plaza is a redevelopment of the Harrison Hot Springs beachfront and lagoon area.
The site will be host to several annual events, including the World Championships of Sand Sculpture and the Harrison Festival of the Arts.
This addition to the lakefront will commence in the fall of 2008.
