Delta will be developing its very own B.C. Spirit Square, thanks to $250,000 from the provincial government, Delta South MLA Val Roddick announced June 7.
The Delta Spirit Square will be built at the municipal hall in Delta which includes the communities of Ladner, Tsawwassen, Tsawwassen First Nations, and North Delta. The Spirit Square will include a series of glass panels recognizing local sport and historical municipal leaders.
The funding was announced at the Delta Sports Hall of Fame Gala.
