Creston’s 11th Avenue North will be transformed into a venue for community events, thanks to $125,000 from the Province’s B.C. Spirit Square program.
The Spirit Square funding will see the addition of wide decorative sidewalks, lighting, trees and site furniture, including temporary cast iron posts to shut off the street for community events.
The funding announcement was made by East Kootenay MLA Bill Bennett Feb. 15.
