Douglas Park in Langley will soon have its very own B.C. Spirit Square thanks to $407,500 from the provincial government.
Langley’s Spirit Square will provide a venue to celebrate the City of Langley’s unique history and city/country charm.
Located in Douglas Park, the square is within easy walking distance to other civic facilities, the downtown commercial area and recreational facilities.
The location is further enhanced by additional amenities in the surrounding area including a recreation centre, playground, tennis courts, sports box, water-park, elementary school and lawn bowling club.
The funding announcement was made Sept. 17 by Langley MLA Mary Polak.
